Biographical information

Since1997 till 2003 – studied at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv at the Faculty of Law, has earned a Master’s Degree in Law.

Since 1999 – worked in the Centre of Policy and Legal Reform.

Since 2003 till 2006 – had postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Law of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

In February 2007 – defended his Candidate’s Thesis.


Public activities

He is a member of the board of the Centre of Policy and Legal Reform.

A chief expert on judicial reform of the Resuscitation Package of Reforms.

A member of the Judicial Reform Council.

Participated in the preparation of the new Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and Status of Judges” (adopted in 2016), drafts of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine (adopted in 2012), the Law of Ukraine “On Access to Court Decisions” (adopted in 2005); The Code of Administrative Proceedings of Ukraine and the Civil Procedure Code of Ukraine (entered into force in 2005).


Research activities

The author and co-author of about 50 scientific and educational works (including monographs, two teaching guides, a scientific and practical commentary to the Code).
